Peltigera sp.
This is a foliose lichen growing on trees, among or on the moss. It produces large leaf-like lobes, dark olive-brown, and each thallus was about 30cm across. What caught my eye were these attractive brown-reddish apothecia at ends of leaves - these ones here were about 7mm in diameter. My best guess, based on few pictures found on Internet, is that this one would probably be Peltigera praetextata, quite common dog lichen in Europe.
Found on a felled log in a lowland broadleaved forest, not very interesting as it is one of those unfortunate forests that are being partly cleared for golf-courses and arranged walkways. The forest itself is directly on the border between France and Switzerland; and is on edges of urban settings.
