Description:

About 2cm long insect, with the typical hind legs of hopping insects. This one is not easily startled, only twitching a little when approached.

Habitat:

Near the ground on the edge of the gazetted nature reserve at Labrador Park.

Pls verify.. Riptortus clavatus is one of the most harmful pests of soybeans in Japan. But I could not find a record of the species in Singapore. Thanks!
