Menelaus Blue Morpho Butterfly

Description:

One of the thirty species of butterfly in the subfamily Morphinae. Its wingspan is approximately 12 cm and its dorsal fore wings and hind wings are a bright, iridescent blue edged with black.

Habitat:

Tends to live in damp/wet environments where its cool and warm. They spend most of their time in lower shrubs and trees.
