Shield Bug Nymph

Pycanum rubens

Description:

large, 2cm, flat backed nymph

Habitat:

tropical rainforest

Notes:

Another insect that I had first learned about in PN. Was really cool to see them in the wild. This was the second one I saw, out of three in total. Spotted at night along the trail in Tawau hills park.
