Ruby-throated Hummingbird

Archilochus colubris

Description:

Two Ruby-throated Hummers spent the day hanging out at the new feeder in my butterfly garden.

Habitat:

Butterfly garden with an old hummingbird feeder hanging on a shepherd's crook, just outside my home.

Notes:

I've never seen such calm hummers before. They both spent quite a lot of time (for hummers) just sitting around watching me.
