Chironius sp.
These species are very busy and fast. Generally, they escape when they are sighted. They are very skittish and may bite if their escape is prevented. Their coloration helps them to be confused with the environment, mainly by spending most of their time in trees and shrubs (hence the popular name "snake-vine" because they really resemble the vines when resting in plants). Snakes very thin and relatively long, reaching up to 1,20 meters (4 ft). They feed on lizards, birds and frogs.
Cipó (reads see-poh), portuguese for liana, is the common brazilian name for the colubrid snakes of genus Chironius. There are sixteen described species in this genus with the last species being described in 1993. (Wikipedia). This one was between 30 and 40 cm. long

Olá Sergio! Achei o animal da foto muito parecido com a Sibynomorphus neuwiedi que ocorre aqui em São Paulo e sei que essa espécie também ocorre no Rio Grande do Sul. Veja o que acha. Abraço.
