Cucumber Spider

Araniella cucurbitina or Araniella opisthographa

Description:

Green Cucumber Spider which had just caught a fly. About 5 mm long. There are supposedly 2 species of Cucumber Spider that can only be identified by killing them and examining them. So I am not sure which of the two this is.

Habitat:

Garden, Semi-rural area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
