Description:

Blue plumage on head, back and tail, with dark ''necklace'' around throat. Blue jays also have a small crest, even if its not noticeable in this photo.

Habitat:

Often found in brushy areas. This specimen was photographed on a small shrub near my driveway.

Notes:

Weather was warm and sunny.
