Possibly the same heron that was here the day before (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/246...) although in this picture, this bird looks a little bigger and thicker-billed to me.
Look for Great Blue Herons in saltwater and freshwater habitats, from open coasts, marshes, sloughs, riverbanks, and lakes to backyard goldfish ponds
