Description:

Tufted ducks are smaller than Mallards with a black crest and a yellow eye, Mostly found on the lowlands of England where it breeds and winters. Numbers usually increase in winter due to migrating birds from Iceland and Northern Europe.

Habitat:

seen at Potteric Carr nature reserve.
