Buteo lineatus
I'm not sure why this hawk has the paine straw and leaves in its feet. When I first saw it, it had landed hard in the pinestraw next to the building and took off when it saw me. It may have missed a meal and had its feet tangled in the debris, or it may have been picking up nesting material to replenish its nest (it's been raining a lot the last few weeks.) Either way, it's a pretty bird!
Look for Red-shouldered Hawks in deciduous woodlands, often near rivers and swamps.
Spotted on the roof of an office/warehouse building in Kennesaw GA
