Citrus sinensis
Like all citrus fruits, the fruit of the orange tree is a fruit with a thick rind containing essential oils and a pulp divided into easily separated juicy segments. The rind changes from green to yellow or orange, while the sweet acid juicy segments rich in vitamin C can be yellow, orange, pink or blood red.
