Top of muzzle black. White stripe from in front of each eye extending to mouth. Black stripe along each cheek. Lower jaw white. Long scimitar like horns swept backwards over shoulders. Mature bulls glossy black with long upstanding mane. White underparts
Prefers dry grasslands with limited bush.
