Spotting

Habitat:

Point Roberts, Washington, USA

Notes:

I'm almost certain that this is a hawk judging by the wingtip feathers. But I just wanted to share this picture I took a while back.

Great capture, Carson!! I love the mountain in the background! This looks like an eagle to me...I'd say Golden, but I have a hard time when they're this far away. We'll see if someone else can figure it out... I'd love you to add this spotting (and any future raptor spottings) to the mission Raptors of North America: http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/8627....

Welcome to Project Noah...a little belatedly, but we're glad you're here!! If you have questions, please refer to the FAQ at the bottom of your screen, or use the chats to get help from others. Thanks for joining Project Noah and we look forward to more spottings from you!!
