This moth is in the Family Crambidae (Crambid Snout Moths).

Habitat:

This one was photographed at a porch light at the edge of a deciduous forest in Edgefield County, SC.

Notes:

Hodges#4785; Per BAMONA, this spotting is a new species record for Edgefield County, SC. Based on my Web research, very little is known about this moth including a common name.
