Gray Tree Frog

Hyla versicolor

Description:

They are highly variable, but usually they are gray with darker gray blotches on the back like this guy, or are a solid green all over. However, there is always a white patch below the eye and the thighs are colored orange.

Habitat:

Found crossing the road at night from one swamp to the other. Took him, photographed him the next morning, then released him back at the swamp he was headed to when I caught him.
