European viper

Vipera berus

Description:

It was a young individual about 40 cm.

Habitat:

In a pine forest.

Notes:

In Sweden it's a protected species. I tried to find out more but obviously this color of this species is rare, looks like this is the first spotting of this coloration of European viper.

Thanks! Yes, I searched on internet but couldn't find pictures of this coloration at least for European species so it is a really important spotting.
