Description:

The erect stems are often branched, smooth, and 2 to 3 feet tall. This native plant grows statewide on sandy or rocky prairies, in open woods, and in disturbed sites. Inch-wide blue flowers are produced from April through July, weather permitting. (information from "The Guide to Oklahoma Wildflowers")
