Description:

Northern Green Frog (Rana clamitans melanota) - True Frog family ( Ranidae). 21/4-31/2in. (5.7-8.9cm); record 4in. (10.2cm). Highly variable - may be more brown than green. The Bullfrog has no dorsolateral ridges.

Habitat:

Sunning on muddy bank of stream mouth in mixed woodland.
