White-sided Flowerpiercer (Female)

Description:

This species of Flowerpiercers frequent stashed areas, where there is a lot of flowers for them to pierce, the specimen in here is a female, it shows a light rufous color beneath and a blueish grey in top, the male is completely black except their side in the wings, which is white, that´s where they got the name for, it measured around 8 cm.
