Carolina mantis (newly hatched)

Stagmomantis carolina

Description:

one of the hundred of so mantises that emerged from the ootheca I brought indoors a couple of months ago.

Habitat:

Semi rural

Notes:

I had intended to keep these for a while & maybe raise a few to breed, but they have emerged as I'm about to go away fro the weekend, & I can't source fruit flies anywhere so it looks like I will be releasing them tomorrow morning!
