Description:

Blue abdomen and black wings. Male damselfly.

Habitat:

Sandy, spring-fed creek bottom in upland hardwoods with many beech and oak trees. Creek flows into bottomland hardwood forest, so baldcypress also present.

Notes:

Males establishing territories for breeding. Saw a few females, but mostly males.
