asian water monitor

Varanus salvator

Notes:

The small isle of Koh Rok in the Andaman sea, is known for the huge monitors that inhabit the island. While we were having lunch on the beach, one of those giant lizards approached , certainly attracted by the smell of food. When it saw this group of people, it hesitated for a while, then turned around and slowly walked away, back to where it came from.

OK, you must be right in that case. I'll make the change right away.
(must be the same thing for the baby monitor I just posted, from Koh Lanta). Thanks for the correction.
