Phylloscopus trochilus
Spotted in woodland at Haggerston Castle, Northumbria. 11cm fully grown, the size of a Bluetit (Cyanistes caeruleus). Lovely sweet and melancholic song, descending in note. A migrating summer bird to Uk arriving between April and June and leaves in the Autumn (fall)
Some males are polygamus The young can fly between 13-16 days after hatching Winters in central and Southern Africa

Thats ok Micolo, it can get a bit confusing sometimes. to help you understand future missions objectives you can find the objective information and also the range map in the tabs at the top of the mission page which will tell you what you can include and where you can include it from :-)
Migrating birds in the mission are great as it means Noah can see how many and what time of year birds are migrating to and from the country. Thankyou for all your contributions so far!

With being new to project Noah I wasn't sure whether to put a "migrating" bird into Birds of Britain. I take it that's OK?

Hi Micolo, I noticed you have only included this in one mission but you can include the same photo in 5 missions so if you could continue adding your British spottings to the birds of Britain mission aswell as the global one that would be much appreciated. Thanks Debbie.
