Pink, soft petal flower on low bush. Also known as Native Hibiscus.

Habitat:

Adel's Grove near Lawn Hill national Park Qld. Very rocky soil.

Better known as Sturt's Desert Rose.

Mallow is definitely possible. Not sure of the exact one though.

Neither Hibiscus or Mimosa Keith. Hibiscus has a long stamen in the centre and the mimosa plants I looked at, the flowers were nothing like this one.

It does look like a hibiscus flower but smaller. I will check them both Keith.
