Description:

Beautiful aquatic snake...feeds on fish & frogs. Often mistaken for a pit viper.

Habitat:

Myakka River: Myakka River State Park, Sarasota FL

Notes:

My contribution to snake week. As much as I'm out in nature, you'd think I would see more snakes.
