A shy little lizard that obliged me by posing underneath his dirt shelter, after running away at first. (acting with typical lizard behavior)

Habitat:

Desertifying high-altitude grassland grazed by some or all of sheep, horses, and yaks (when they need to graze on the sand, that is).
