A dark brown skipper butterfly. The wingspan is 32–45 mm. Adults are on wing year-round in Florida and southern Texas.
Spotted feeding on flowers at the National Butterfly Center in Mission, Texas.
Ranges from the southeast U.S. to Venezuela.
