Summer migratory birds in Asia and parts of Africa has been the winter. Mygzarnd eggs in the ground. Average size foot long wings are shorter and less turnover. There are 86 species worldwide, including 4 it is seen in Afghanistan.

Thank You @Liam I think that these birds had migrated from Afghanistan to Iran
Nightjar species - Egyptian or Sykes's. I'm leaning towards Egyptian based on length and prevalence, but can't be 100% certain.
