Description:

small, coral shaped. no more than 2cm tall. brown with pinkish tips. flesh rubbery

Habitat:

growing up around edge of a Manitoba Maple (Acer negundo) stump.

Notes:

This is the asexual, "conidial" stage of X. polymorpha (see reference)
