Description:

leathery looking orange-brown cap surface with large white margin. Pore surface is dusty white, pores are very small and require a hand lens to see clearly. This bracket is about 5 inches wide by 2 inches deep.

Habitat:

Growing from the base of a London Plane tree on 5th Street (btw. 6th/7th Aves.) Brooklyn.

Notes:

It has a strange aroma, like mushroom plus... something plastic or chemical-like.
