I was really surprised to see a large swallowtail in Colombia. I've seen them around southern Ontario where I live but didn't expect to see them in Colombia. I spotted this one puddling on my way back from Canalendres, near Mocoa.
Thanks bayucca, I've heard of the giant swallowtail, but not the king, cool. Thank you Mona and Ali.
