Spotting

Description:

Larvae, yellow. Found buried just under mud. Very active. Perhaps a young dragonfly larvae.

Habitat:

Shallow shore of North Platte River.

Notes:

Ran all over my fingers desperately until he accidentally flipped over. Very slow after he got back in the river. In picture number 4 it is back in the water near the center of the picture and still upside down. I sat him back the right way and he started moving again.
