A way to separate similar species is to look closely at the tips of the antennae; if there is NO apiculus the butterfly is a Taractrocera; Your pic has clearly the apiculus, so you could discard taratrocera. Skippers are always dificult.
Based on ID from Orr & Kitching, the Butterflies of Australia. The small size indicates either Taractocera, Suniana or Ocybadistes. The picture best fits O. ardea which is very small - 10mm & the underside of the hindwing has a orange mark that is outlined with a dark line unlike the other members of its genus. the colour fits as well as the distribution. The web has very little info The I think most of the web pics are quite poor.
