Size 12-15 mm, colored as shown.

Habitat:

This specimen was attracted to a mercury vapor light and blacklight setup at night in Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge. Habitat is coastal wetland.

Notes:

This beetle is also diurnal.
