Musk Thistle (Full Bloom and Blooming)

Carduus nutans

Description:

The first picture is the exact same flower as my other "Musk Thistle" spotting, but it has bloomed a lot more since then. The second picture is on the same plant of a blooming flower. I had two more pictures, one of the full bloom flower on the side, and one of the plant as a whole, but the upload failed.

Habitat:

Grassy wildlife

Cammie: There are 3 different flowers all on this one plant at different stages in their blooming.

Gerardo: Thanks!

Lauren: You're right! It also reminded me of the trees in the Lorax.
