Description:

Black and yellow wasp.

Habitat:

Found in our greenhouse.

Notes:

Feeds on small caterpillars and pollen. Nests in cavities like old mud dauber nests, hollow plant stems and empty carpenter bee cavities. Males can sting with the sharp tip to their abdomen. No venom involved.
