Description:

One of the first butterflies to usually appear in Spring, a very pretty shade of yellow with a leaf shaped wing that provides camouflage when roosting. wingspan of around 6-7.5cm.

Habitat:

seen feeding on red campion at Old Moor reserve owned by the RSPB.
