Description:

After much needed rain there were many of these appearing on the roots of large eucalyptus which were partially exposed in the more open areas of a damp rain forest. At this stage (young) they were about 60mm across. Very thin papery blades on a short, funnel shaped base.

Habitat:

Damp eucalyptus rain forest in national park.
