I don't really know what its common name is, I guess it's a beetle or a tiny roach

Description:

my daughter found this bug in the states, Colorado. we have no idea what kind of bug it is, due to its rare white designs on its dark brown back. I've been meaning to find out more about it but can't find a match of it anywhere. now that I've found this site, I'm hoping someone will be able to tell me what kind of bug it is. thx :)

Notes:

-it has a brown back with unique white designs -my daughter found it in 2011 maybe 2010, so about 2 or 3 years ago -we can't find any other bug online or at any museums that looks the same or close
