Description:

Click Beetle, 2 cm in length, with strongly pectinate antennae. Darker brown on the head and thorax, lighter red-brown on the elytra. Family Elateridae, subfamily Elaterinae, Tribe Ampedini.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolate light, Finca Argovia, Ruta de Cafe, 32 km north of Tapachula, Chiapas, Mexico 617 meters.
