Description:

Erect, arborescent, flexible algae, up to 30 cm high and more or less whitish pinkish in color. Thallus fixed to the substrate by a basal disc from which cylindrical axes start, somewhat calcified but flexible, soft and mucilaginous, with irregular dichotonic branching, with lateral adventitious branches. Annual, with a greater presence in spring and summer.

Habitat:

Upper infralittoral of shallow rocky bottoms, illuminated, of gentle hydrodynamism. Punta la Raja (La Manga. Murcia)
