faredin, here is your sugg :D i have found it an h before http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/261...
no no, the neck is the same, you can see on the link page that the coloration is varying between darker closer to the joints and lighter brown/reddish more away from the body ... i have no other sugg
Your suggestion looks like it except the color of the antenna and the legs, plus the neck is a bit more different. I think Jopy should put some more pictures of it if you she has, please :)
I won't do that :D it's interesting, I'm not sleeping, it's time to upload the lizards! u can continue :D
sorry to disappoint you but surely not, look at the body shape is triangular not equally elongated like on her spotting ;)
and I have another option from longhorns if not then we move to soldier beetles :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudovadon...
No she won't we are doing a job for her :D she is probably sleeping by now ;) i'll continue tomorrow with this beetle ;)
Of course you should not confirm my ID if you don't think it's right, why should i get upset about that. It really matters to what picture you look at so the link you gave shows it's the wrong ID, doesn't fit. Hope Jopy won't kill us for spamming her spotting :)
Look here http://www.zin.ru/Animalia/Coleoptera/en... , the neck looks like a ball, I don't about its size, I don't know where it was spotted but surely even today I have witnessed many bigger soldier beetles than longhorn beetles ;) sorry, I don't feel like confirming your id if it totally don't looks like it to me, hope you are not getting upset-that the way I am, very analytical ;)
Yes yes, the red beetle was a big mistake :). But this is the last option from me. I can say it is a longhorn beetle, it looks a bit bigger than soldier beetles but hard to say for sure from a single photo. So check the new ID and tell me what you think.
The problem is that the neck part is totally different is thicker than the rest of the body and that is not the case here...
Check this one, fits to your perfectly : http://www.nbforestry.com/gallery/photos...
Upss, Injica is right, this is wrong ID, sorry for that. Yours is a brown one.
On the photo from treknature there is a specimen with colored, not black, neck....I dont think is longhorn beetle...the shape don't fit
mislim da je soldier beetle, ima izduženo tijelo i nema baš velika ticala, samo sam ovu sliku uhvatila, pobjegao!
