Unknown Fungi

Description:

Somewhat Amoeba shaped, was smooth and spongy with pores oozing thick substance. Now broke open an cauliflower looking.

Habitat:

At the base of a huge oak tree . All other trees around were gymnosperms.

Notes:

Three total 2 have broken open and one oval fungi still in tact with many visible oozing pores. Have a few pictures of both, will upload oval specimen next.
