Southern Cricket Frog

Acris gryllus

Description:

Classic bright yellow/green pattern on the back.

Habitat:

Semi-permanent fresh water puddle in a pine forest.

Notes:

This could potentially be the same frog I saw last week at this location, although we have a lot of them. If not, two of the most well-marked cricket frogs I've ever seen.
