Strawberry pink and black plumage. Male has a sort of wispy crest and beard as can be seen in the second photo. Raises it when excited; not so noticeable, otherwise. Incredibly noisy. Huge flocks.
Tree tops where it looks for fruits and insects.
Migratory.
