Thanks Emily. Broad-wings are the most comon species that migrate by here in the east. Fall migration will have a day or two with 5,000 to 10,000 flying by.

Great shot Tom! These are quite rare in CO. Oddly enough, we just received one into the Birds of Prey Foundation this week. It is only the 2nd Broad-wing in the Foundation's 30 year history and it's a dark morph to boot!
