Flower Scarab

Description:

Black scarab of about 1 cm long with white hairs on the edge of each abdominal segment, making it appear superficially bee-like. The head is rather long and pointed downward for easy flower feeding and almost looks weevil-like.

Habitat:

On flowers in a garden in the center of the city.
