False Crocus Geometer Moth

Xanthotype urticaria

Description:

Yellow moth with moth-type antennae. The moth has brown spots that look like they are burnt into it. It also has 6-7 tiny dark spots on the trailing edge of the hind wings.

Habitat:

Low vegetation in weedy fields
