Description:

A large eucalyptus log was covered with various mosses and many delicate single spines of a type of fungus. A small number of them showed some forking. most were about 25mm tall.

Habitat:

Tall eucalyptus rainforest in a national park.

Notes:

Although these look like a coral fungus they are a form of jelly fungus.
Family: Dacrymycetaceae
Genus: Calocera
